MindMe
The MindMe project was born from the need to conceptualize, develop and test a mobile application for smartphones (App) for adult patients with major depression and/or caregivers, in close proximity to the psychiatry services of NHS hospitals.
This mobile application will serve as a tool for:
- support for the emotional, social and physical rehabilitation of patients with major depression;
- training patients and/or caregivers to reduce the economic impact of the disease on the family budget;
- access to daily patient information from the respective NHS psychiatry; it's from
- signaling a potential worsening of the patient's condition to a high risk of attempted suicide to the psychiatry team.

Breast OncoCare
Multicenter Study of the Effect of Restorative Yoga on Breast Cancer Survivors.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a restorative yoga intervention in improving the quality of life of women who are breast cancer survivors.
As specific objectives we define:
1) Reduce inflammation and pain (particularly associated with lymphedema);
2) Reduce fatigue;
3) Promote psychological well-being;
4) Improve sleep;
5) Improve depressive states, anxiety and stress;
6) Improve the muscular strength of the upper limbs and the range of movement of the shoulders; It is
7) Assess nutritional risk and the perceived need to increase literacy about “breast cancer”.

Caring for Yourself: Nutrition, Activity and Knowledge
CuidarSe is a project that promotes quality of life, giving all USF users (ACES, ULS, SRSPCM and SRSDA), aged ≥18 years, equal opportunity to add value to their health, enabling them to self-knowledge and self-manage their health. healthcare for 2 years, free of charge. The project is an integrative solution, in digital format, which allows sharing with an informal caregiver or family member, provided they have digital skills and a smartphone.
The objectives are to combat: malnutrition, deficit and excess weight or obesity, in a personalized way; sedentary lifestyle, lack of muscular, joint and respiratory capacity; the pain; lack of concentration, anxiety and stress; health illiteracy and access to “fake news”; the reduced social and economic value of health; opting for an unhealthy lifestyle; forgetting to take medication, eating and exercising; and the scarcity of data on the quality of life of USF users.

SuperiorMente
SuperiorMente is a mental health promotion project in higher education whose main objective is to support the development of mental health and well-being strategies for students from the Autonomous Group (UAL, ESESFM, AA and EA) and the Escola Superior de Educação João de Deus, which contribute to the success of the academic career and the respective process of training and personal development.
The project specifically aims at the following objectives:
- a) Support HEIs in the creation or consolidation of psychological support mechanisms for students with quality and effectiveness;
- b) Promote projects that favor preventive approaches, characterized by their high scalability, that develop socio-emotional skills in students related to mental resilience and stress management;
- c) Stimulate early intervention strategies that seek to prevent the development of more serious pathologies, taking advantage of the proximity context for greater effectiveness;
- d) Strengthen the articulation between the existing structures in the HEIs and the SNS, particularly with regard to the mechanisms for identifying situations of serious mental illness and their referral to specialized health services;
- e) Support initiatives that pay particular attention to more vulnerable groups of students such as new students, displaced students (national or international), students with specific educational needs, and students belonging to ethnic minorities;
- f) Involve the entire academic community and students' families in mental health literacy, warning signs and responses provided by HEIs.
